জাপানের চাহিদা অনুযায়ী বাংলাদেশ সরকার প্রতি বছর জাপানে ১,০০,০০০ কর্মী প্রেরণের পরিকল্পনা গ্রহণ করেছে। জাপান সাধারণত Technical Intern Training Program (TITP), Specified Skilled Worker (SSW), Engineer/ Specialist in Humanities/International Services এর আওতায় Technical Intern, SSW এবং Specialist in International Services- এই ৩ টি category-তে বিদেশী জনবল নিয়োগ করে থাকে। এছাড়া, কর্মসংস্থানের উদ্দেশ্যে Japanese Language Institute-এ Student Visa-তে ও উল্লেখযোগ্য সংখ্যক বিদেশী জাপানে আসার সুযোগ পায়। জাপানের সাথে বাংলাদেশের Technical Intern, SSW নিয়োগ সংক্রান্ত দুটি সহযোগিতা স্মারক (Memorandum of Cooperation -MOC) স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। এছাড়া, বাংলাদেশের BMET, BOESL এবং মন্ত্রণালয় কর্তৃক অনুমোদিত Sending Organization (SO) গুলোর সাথে জাপানের বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানের সমঝোতা স্মারক (Memorandum of Understanding-MOU) ও চুক্তি (Agreement) স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস এঁর জাপান সফরের ফলে অধিকতর কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি হয়েছে এবং এই সুযোগকে কাজে লাগানোর জন্য ইতোমধ্যে প্রবাসী কল্যাণ ও বৈদেশিক কর্মসংস্থান মন্ত্রণালয়ে আলাদা 'জাপান সেল' গঠন করা হয়েছে। এই বিশেষ উদ্দেশ্যে গঠিত 'জাপান সেল' জাপানে বাংলাদেশীদের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য জাপানি ভাষা ও দক্ষতা প্রশিক্ষণ, এর সাথে সম্পৃক্ত বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষা ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে নেগোসিয়েশন, সমন্বয় এবং তথ্য প্রচার করবে। *** জাপানের ১৬ টি শিল্প ক্ষেত্রের বিভিন্ন ধরণের প্রায় শতাধিক কাজের বিষয়ে বিস্তারিত ( বাংলা ভাষায়) জানতে পাশের ছবিতে ক্লিক করুন।***
